Job summary

Silfex Inc. is seeking a CNC Machining Team Lead for the D shift (6pm–6am ET) in Springfield, OH. You will guide a team of machinists, setup 3–5 axis CNC machines, and ensure parts meet exact specifications with tight process control.

You will train machinists, read G&M code, and work with engineering, quality, and management to drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the value stream.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 years of CNC/machining experience with 1 year of leadership.
• Fluent in G&M code and strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3 to 5 axis CNC machines per work instructions and manufacturing plan.
• Verify conformance with dimensional and visual inspections using precision tools.
• Provide training and guidance to machinists; lead during shifts.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and support lean initiatives.
