Job Title: CNC SWISS Operator II – 2nd Shift

We are currently seeking a highly skilled CNC Mill Machine Operator to join our award-winning team.

Overview

Nexxt Spine is seeking an experienced CNC SWISS Operator to join our 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is crucial to ensuring the production of high-quality parts and contributing to the overall success of our team.

Job Responsibilities

• Setup and operate Citizen Swiss lathes to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
• Understand and make machine adjustments to ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products using inspection equipment such as optical comparators, micrometers, and calipers to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve desired results.
• Deburr and clean parts.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and solve production issues.
• Clean and maintain CNC equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Meet production goals and deadlines.
  
  

Experience

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• High level of knowledge in tooling.
• Capable of completing frequent set-ups to run a variety of parts.
• Proficient in making tool changes.
• Ability to make offsets to produce quality parts.
• Experience with automatic bar loaders.
• 3+ years of experience of setup and operation of SWISS Lathes.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with good knowledge of shop tools and machines.
• Self-motivated to produce high-quality parts.
• Team-oriented and capable of working with limited supervision.
• Strong desire to learn.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Great dexterity to work with implants and instrumentation.
  
  

Shift Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 3:00PM - 11:00PM
