Job summary

Unknown Corp in North Easton, MA is seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist to join the production team. The role covers full setups on STAR and Citizen lathes, editing FANUC programs, and daily inspection with quality logs.

Requires 4+ years of Swiss lathe experience, a high school diploma, and willingness to work 1st shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Competitive hourly pay with strong benefits and ITAR adherence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of prior experience operating, setting up, and editing programs for Swiss CNC lathes.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong blueprint reading, math aptitude, organization, time management, and basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to stand for long periods, push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs, and demonstrate the manual dexterity needed to grasp small parts.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (due to ITAR/Government regulations).
• Completion of an accredited trade school program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform full setups and operate multiple STAR and Citizen Swiss CNC lathes, including loading raw stock, setting collets, guide bushings, and cutting tools from setup instructions
• Make basic edits to FANUC CNC programs, perform live offsets, and execute tool changes while jobs are running
• Read complex blueprints, inspect machined parts using standard inspection equipment, and accurately complete production and quality logs
• Adhere strictly to ISO quality, ITAR, and safety procedures while performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and keeping your workstation clean and orderly
• Work cooperatively to meet production goals, assist in training less experienced operators, and run secondary equipment (manual/CNC lathes, mills, and surface grinders) as needed

Location: North Easton, MA | Schedule: Full-time, on-site, 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Compensation: $30.00 – $35.00 / hour (Non-exempt, hourly)
