Randstad Staffing, partnered with a leading medical device manufacturer in Brooklyn Park, MN, seeks a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist II. You will set up and operate Citizen Swiss machines to produce high-precision medical components, ensuring they meet strict quality standards.

Shifts include Weekend Days and Weekend Nights, with pay $30-40/hour and weekend differentials. Strong GD&T and blueprints knowledge required. High School diploma and vocational certs preferred; EOE.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC Swiss machining experience, preferably in medical devices.
• Ability to set up and operate Citizen Swiss machines.
• Strong math, reading blueprints, and geometric dimensioning skills.
• Proficiency with standard inspection tools and computers.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsabilités

About the Role Randstad Staffing is partnering with a leading medical device manufacturer in Brooklyn Park, MN, to hire a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist II. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Citizen Swiss machinery to produce high-precision medical components. You will play a critical role in ensuring all parts meet strict quality standards and adhere to company quality manuals.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: Weekend Days & Weekend Nights available
• Schedule: Friday to Sunday
• Hours: 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM or 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Pay:$30-40 per hour
  • Weekend Day shift differential $3 per hour
  • Weekend Night shift differential $4 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complete setups and operations on Citizen CNC Swiss machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and detailed work instructions.
• Conduct precise quality inspections visually (using a microscope) and dimensionally using standard measuring tools.
• Monitor product quality continuously to ensure adherence to Quality System requirements and specifications.
• Effectively balance competing priorities on the floor with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2+ years of CNC Swiss machining experience (experience in medical device or precision component manufacturing preferred).
• Proven ability to set up and operate Citizen Swiss machines.
• strong proficiency in shop math, reading blueprints, and geometric dimensioning.
• Proficiency using standard computers, calculators, and precision inspection equipment.
• strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Education & Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Vocational Certificate in Machine Trades or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Must have valid identification and legal authorization to work in the United States. ZPMLSTCM

• Set up Swiss Machines on most intermediate complexity level production jobs unaided as required by work instructions and set up sheets.

• Able to effectively communicate across the department, including the extended team.

Problem Solving

• Troubleshoot intermediate machining job problems with supervision.

• Has a basic understanding of the electronic systems used in operations. Accesses the systems for training and clocking in/out of jobs.

• Train and run other types of equipment as the business need arises.

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
• Participate in continuous improvement, 5S, and Lean initiatives.
