Job description

Are you skilled in operating CNC Swiss Machines? If so, Atlas Staffing has an exciting direct-hire opportunity for you to advance your career with a growing company! We are working with an aerospace company based in Mesa that designs and manufactures electronic connectors for the air and space industries. They’re looking to bring talented CNC Swiss Machinists onto their team!

CNC Swiss Machinist Responsibilities:

  • Is knowledgeable in CNC machining and secondary equipment.
  • Assists Production Supervisors with all aspects of KPI requirements (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost).
  • Active participant and advocate of Lean & 5S culture company-wide.
  • Follows “in-process” quality inspections and works with team members to ensure total quality.
  • Aids in feedback to planning & engineering to optimize productivity.
  • Provides translation service for team members when required.
  • Ensure usage of correct gaging, hand measuring tools & metrology equipment to deliver the highest possible quality components for our customers.
  • Support preventative maintenance of equipment and report machine issues to production supervisor.

CNC Swiss Machinist Requirements:

  • Citizen/Tsugami/Star experience.
  • Sliding head stock experience.
  • Experience setting up machines, not just operating.
  • Experience with complex geometry and tight tolerance.
  • GD&T (lots of True positions).
  • Tooling knowledge.
  • Understanding of feeds/speeds and can read programs to understand what tools are doing.

Pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour depending on experience.

Shifts:
1st: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
3rd: Monday-Friday, 10:30 PM– 7:00 AM
