Join Our Team! EMC Precision is looking for an experienced Team Member to ensure our operations run without a hitch. If you’re ready for the best job at the best place you’ve ever worked, read on!

EMC Precision has provided complex parts in low- to mid-volume quantities expertly machined since 1925. This Swiss Style Lathe Operator will be responsible for the CNC manufacturing of precision components using Citizen L20 and M32 machines.

Primary Job Duties:

  1. Must be able to operate multiple Swiss machines simultaneously.
  2. Uses various types of measuring instruments.
  3. Replace tooling and adjusts tools to meet blueprint specifications.
  4. Set-up experience is a plus.
  5. Performs first piece inspection when setup is completed.
  6. Recommends process improvements with supervisor or programming personnel to resolve problems.

Requirements

  1. High School diploma/GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  2. Fluent in Shop Math.
  3. Minimum of one year of shop experience.
  4. Maintains cleanliness of work area utilizing 5S techniques and methods.
  5. Responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment.
  6. Solid work history.
  7. Must be able to frequently: push, pull, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, see general and close up, hear, speak, use motor coordination - dexterity as well as eye, hand, foot and use of hand(s), wrist, arms, and fingers and arm(s) in any direction.
  8. Must be able to occasionally: kneel, stoop, bend, grip, climb flights of stairs.
