Job summary

MW Components, Inc. in Seymour, CT is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss machinist to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Swiss machines to produce precision components. Full- or part-time opportunities are available on first, second shifts or as a part-time role.

Ideal candidates will read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and adjust tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds to ensure quality. Experience with micrometers and calipers is required; programming experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC Swiss machining experience required, including setup and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of CNC programs, tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance.
• CNC Swiss programming experience is a plus.

Education & Experience

Required

• High school diploma or GED required. State Apprentice Program Certification in CNC a plus
• 4+ years as setup and operator experience in CNC Lathe machining, tsugamis preferred.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances.
