A manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Swiss Machine Operator for 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

1. Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines with minimal supervision.
2. Monitor equipment performance to ensure proper operation.
3. Inspect the first piece and obtain approval from the designated person.
4. Check parts during production according to procedures, specifications, and customer requirements using gauges such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and depth micrometers.
5. Make decisions regarding quality, tolerances, and sequence of operations.
6. Inspect work in progress for conformance to functional and aesthetic specifications.
7. Identify and resolve routine and some non-routine issues through troubleshooting.
8. Set up and perform secondary operations or machines as required.
9. Conduct daily maintenance checks on all equipment operated.
10. Handle tools, equipment, and materials with care.
11. Report faulty equipment, defective materials, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision.
12. Communicate effectively with internal partners regarding tasks.
13. Keep the supervisor informed of issues requiring their attention in a timely manner.
14. Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
15. Observe safety and housekeeping standards.
16. Support company and departmental goals through appropriate actions and behaviors.
17. Communicate effectively with co-workers and internal customers.
18. Perform tasks efficiently and timely while meeting quality standards.
