Job summary

Impact Staffing in Lawrenceville, GA is hiring a CNC Department Supervisor to lead a team of operators. The right candidate will bring hands-on CNC machining expertise and the leadership to drive output, quality, and safety.

You will program, set up, and operate multiple machines, coordinate schedules, mentor staff, ensure tool paths meet tight tolerances for aerospace, medical, or commercial parts, and work with engineers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC operator, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with CNC programming software such as Mastercam or GibbsCAM in a SolidWorks environment.
• Strong working knowledge of G-code, tooling selection, post-processors, and GD&T.
• Strong leadership and communication skills managing a team of CNC operators.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with sheet metal equipment preferred.
• Experience programming laser and water jet machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC Swiss lathes, CNC routers, and other machine tools.
• Verify tool paths and ensure parts meet tight tolerance requirements across aerospace, medical, or commercial applications.
• Supervise and coordinate CNC machine operators and technicians.
• Keep machines running at optimum capacity and properly maintained.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Train new employees on machine operation, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing levels to meet demand.
• Collaborate with engineers and other departments to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Maintain accurate records of machine output, downtime, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

A well-established custom manufacturer in Lawrenceville is hiring a CNC Department Supervisor! The right candidate will bring hands-on CNC machining expertise along with the leadership skills to run a team of operators.

Excellent Schedule Mon-Thurs 1st Shift 10 hour days

$30-$35 per hour / Direct Hire!

What You'll Do
