Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a skilled CNC and structural steel operator to join our US fabrication team. You will run beam lines, plate processing, saws, and drills to meet takt while driving quality and efficiency.

You will nest for material yield, optimize cycle times, and program equipment with CAM tools. Experience with Tekla interface and CAM systems is a plus. This is an on-site role with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Experience engineering CNC or steel processing operations in heavy fabrication.
• Programming beam lines or plate processing equipment.
• Nest for material yield and understand yield value.

Responsibilities

• Own CNC and structural steel processing: beam lines, plate processing, saws, and drills on takt.
• Program and optimize machines: nesting, tooling, and cycle times feeding downstream.
• Commission new steel processing equipment and prove it to rate.
• Own tooling and preventive maintenance to maintain uptime through ramp.
