Job summary

Metron Machining is seeking a part-time Shop Assistant to support machinists and office tasks in Lakewood, Colorado. The role offers a four-day day-shift schedule, with roughly 25–35 hours per week and flexible hours for students or early-career candidates.

You will help keep the shop organized, handle data entry and ERP workflows, and assist with shipping, receiving, and production support. Opportunities to move to full-time with benefits after ~90 days.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Shop support: maintain a clean, safe shop; assist machinists; prepare parts; support shipping and receiving; organize supplies and work areas.
• Office/administrative support: answer calls; greet visitors; data entry; assist ERP workflows; manage mail and deliveries; organize files.
• Business support: build lead lists; update CRM/ERP; assist with customer follow-up; support social media and internal projects.
