Job summary

Ajulia Executive Search is seeking a CNC Programmer to join our fabrication team in Wheeling, IL. You will read drawings, program and set up CNC machines, and train operators to ensure quality and efficiency across production lines.

The role requires strong hands-on CNC programming with Fanuc controls, G-code and M-code, plus experience with CAD/CAM tools like SolidWorks and Mastercam. Prior experience with mills and lathes is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years CNC machining experience.
• Strong CNC programming and setup with Fanuc controls, G-code, and M-code.
• Experience with horizontal/vertical mills and lathes; CAD/CAM familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Work with machining staff to improve production quality and efficiency.
• Oversee CNC setup, tooling, fixturing, gaging, programming, and machine operation.
• Read and interpret part drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Train CNC operators on proper processes and techniques.
• Supervise CNC production employees during daily operations.
• Maintain production records, quality paperwork, and tool inventory.
