Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is hiring for a CNC Shear and Press Brake Fabricator in Pomona, CA. You will set up, program, test, and adjust fabrication machines to shear, pierce, extrude, bend, and shape material, following blueprints and BOMs.

You should read and interpret drawings, install punches and fixtures, and work with conveyors or robots as needed. Lifts up to 50 lbs and standing up to 10 hours are required. Immediate on-site employment with a 4:00 PM–12:30 AM shift.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading/writing required.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, BOMs and blueprints.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for 10 hours.
• Familiarity with calipers, tape measures, and squares for inspection.
• Willingness to follow production schedules and handle expedited orders.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, test, and adjust shear and press brake machines.
• Read blueprints and turn them into precise parts.
• Install, align, and lock punches, dies, and fixtures.
• Inspect parts for burrs and defects and reject nonconforming items.
• Coordinate with Material Handlers to stage stock and maintain a clean work area.
