• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to keep equipment in top condition.
• Read and interpret drawings/blueprints to produce accurate, in-tolerance parts.
• Keep work cell clean and compliant with safety procedures.
• Collaborate with teammates to streamline setups and boost throughput.
• Log production details and escalate issues to supervisor.

Your day at Waupaca Foundry

Based in Waupaca, WI, you'll be the go-to expert who gets CNC equipment ready to deliver precise, reliable parts. You'll arrive to a clean, safety-focused environment, review the production run, load materials, and dial in machine parameters so the line starts strong and stays on target.

What you'll do

• Prepare and fine-tune CNC machines to match part specifications and production plans.
• Stage and load materials, verify alignment, and confirm workholding for optimum machining.
• Watch cycle performance closely and adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets to protect quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to keep equipment in top condition.
• Read and apply technical drawings/blueprints to produce accurate, in-tolerance components.
• Keep the cell neat and compliant with all safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Partner with teammates to streamline setups, reduce waste, and boost throughput.
• Log production details and promptly elevate issues to your supervisor.

What you bring

• Comfort operating forklifts, cranes, electric pallet jacks, and similar material-handling tools.
• Hands-on exposure to robots or robotic interfaces.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for precision.
• Working knowledge of CNC methods, tooling, and machining fundamentals.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. consistently and up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
• Stamina to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
• Capability for frequent bending, climbing, and other repetitive movements required on the floor.
