Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client in Oak Ridge, TN seeks a CNC Set Up to join their manufacturing team. The role involves loading and adjusting preset CNC programs, operating equipment, and performing in-process inspections to ensure quality products.

Qualifications

Attention to detail and teamwork are key to success in this role.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Three years of CNC set up experience is expected for candidates, with ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Proficiency in math and computer skills is required and CAD/CAM, G&M codes, GD&T, and SPC knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Load and make minor adjustments to preset CNC programs to ensure proper machine operation.
Operate CNC manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to work instructions.
Inspect parts for defects during in-process inspection and record results.
Perform basic machine adjustments such as offsets and setting tapers.
Maintain work area cleanliness and perform routine preventative maintenance.
