KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Interpret Technical Documents

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Associate in related field or 3-5 years of Machine Shop experience in a production setting
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, machine tool operation, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of CNC programming languages (G-codes and M-codes) and their application.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve machine-related issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the production team.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and geometry.
• Performs preventative maintenance as required.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and other relevant computer applications.
• Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific Health and Safety expectations.
• Follows all plant policies and practices to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to safely perform related physical demands of the role
• Bending, lifting, stooping, and standing greater than 50% of the time
• Hands/wrist/shoulder.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (over 50 pounds requires a team lift).
