Job summary

Software Placement Group (SPG) is seeking CNC Setup Operators in Menomonee Falls, WI to set up and run CNC machining centers and/or lathes from prints and setup data. The role supports multiple schedules with overtime opportunities and offers growth as operations expand.

You will read blueprints, adjust tooling and machine offsets, produce first articles, and inspect parts with precision instruments. Candidates with solid CNC experience and problem‑solving skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Solid CNC machining experience.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC machining centers and/or lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints, job travelers, setup sheets and work instructions.
• Experience selecting, installing and adjusting tooling.
• Ability to establish or adjust feeds, speeds and machine offsets.
• Experience with precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot machining, tooling and quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers and/or lathes.
• Read blueprints, job travelers, setup sheets and work instructions.
• Select, install and adjust tooling.
• Establish or adjust feeds, speeds and machine offsets.
• Produce and inspect first pieces and monitor quality throughout the run.
• Use precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling and quality issues.
• Make program edits or adjustments appropriate to your experience level.
