Job summary

Acero Precision in West Chester, PA, is seeking a CNC Setup & Production Machinist for Swiss-type lathes to manufacture highly precise medical device components in an ISO-regulated environment. You will set up, program, and run Swiss-type machines, read blueprints, select tooling, and verify parts with precision instruments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC machining experience.
• Setup and operate Swiss-type CNC lathes.
• Interpret blueprints and process documentation.
• Select tooling and set work offsets.
• Perform first-piece, in-process and final inspections.
• Use calipers, micrometers and indicators for measurements.
• Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes.
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues.

We are hiring a skilled CNC Setup & Production Machinist with experience operating and setting up Swiss-type CNC lathes . You will produce highly precise medical device components used in life-changing applications while working in a quality-focused, ISO-regulated manufacturing environment.

If you have experience with Star, Citizen, Tsugami, Swiss-type CNC lathes, CNC Swiss machining, or precision turning , we'd like to speak with you.

Equipment You'll Work With

Our machining environment includes:

Experience with Star, Citizen, Tsugami, Tornos, DMG Mori, Mazak , or similar CNC equipment is highly valued.

What You'll Do

• Setup and operate Swiss-type CNC lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and process documentation
• Select and install appropriate tooling
• Set work offsets and make tool/offset adjustments
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience
• Experience independently setting up and operating CNC Swiss-type lathes
• Strong understanding of Swiss machining and precision turning
• Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills
• Experience with precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and indicators
• Understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, work offsets, and machining fundamentals
• Ability to troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
