Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. seeks a CNC Setup Machinist for a 2nd shift in the Big Bend, WI area. This direct-hire role offers a 4-day work week (Mon–Thu, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM) with guaranteed 3-day weekends and competitive pay.

You will perform independent setups on multi-axis CNC mills and turning centers, edit G&M code, adjust tooling and offsets, and inspect tight-tolerance parts to GD&T standards in a climate-controlled 5S facility serving aerospace, defense, and medical components.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC machining experience with at least 1 year independent setups on mills or lathes.
• Proficient with reading blueprints and applying GD&T fundamentals.
• Ability to verify close-tolerance features with precision gauges and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent setups on multi-axis CNC mills and turning centers.
• Manage tooling, offsets, and fixtures to maintain tight tolerances.
• Inspect close-tolerance parts using micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
• Interpret blueprints and apply G&M code adjustments with GD&T awareness.
• Troubleshoot deviations to optimize cycle times and production flow.
• Maintain a clean, 5S-compliant machining cell.
