RNInk in East Troy, WI is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a direct-hire 2nd shift. The role offers a 4-day work week (Mon–Thu, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM) with Fridays off, and a baseline pay up to $33/hour plus a shift differential and full benefits.

You'll perform independent setups on multi-axis CNC mills/turning centers, manage tooling and offsets, and inspect tight-tolerance components using precision instruments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional CNC machining experience with at least 1 year of independent setups on mills or lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints, interpret G&M codes, and apply GD&T fundamentals.
• Proficient with precision hand tools and inspection equipment to verify tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent setups on multi-axis CNC mills and turning centers.
• Manage tooling, offsets, work holding fixtures, and cutting tool changes.
• Inspect close-tolerance parts using micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
• Interpret blueprints, apply GD&T, and execute G&M code adjustments.
• Troubleshoot deviations and optimize cell performance on 2nd shift.
• Maintain a clean, 5S-compliant machining station.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)

• Perform Independent Setups: Execute complete, independent machine setups and operations on multi-axis CNC mills and turning centers.
• Tooling & Offsets Management: Adjust tool page offsets, establish work holding fixtures, and replace cutting tooling to maintain tight production tolerances.
• Precision Part Inspection: Inspect close-tolerance components using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, height gauges, and custom precision tooling.
• Blueprint & Code Execution: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, apply G&M code adjustments, and utilize GD&T principles to ensure full part integrity.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize Cell: Investigate and resolve mechanical or program-related deviations on 2nd shift to optimize cycle times and maintain smooth production flow.
• Maintain Cell Standards: Keep a clean, meticulously organized, safe, and 5S-compliant machining station.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)

• Machining & Setup Depth: 2+ years of professional CNC machining experience with at least 1 year of independent setups on CNC mills or lathes.
• Technical Literacy: Demonstrated fluency reading blueprints, interpreting G&M codes, and applying GD&T fundamentals.
• Quality Precision: Proficient with precision hand measurement tools, custom gauges, and inspection equipment to verify close-tolerance part features.
• 2nd Shift Commitment: Lifestyle alignment and absolute readiness for a permanent 2nd shift schedule (Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM).
• Location & Authorization: U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder residing within daily driving distance of the Big Bend, WI area.
