Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience with at least 1 year of independent setups on mills or lathes.
• Fluency reading blueprints, interpreting G&M codes, and applying GD&T fundamentals.
• Proficient with precision hand measurement tools and inspection equipment to verify close-tolerance features.
• Willingness to work permanent 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM).
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card and living within daily driving distance of Big Bend, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform Independent Setups: Execute complete, independent machine setups and operations on multi-axis CNC mills and turning centers.
• Tooling & Offsets Management: Adjust tool offsets, establish fixtures, and replace tooling to maintain tight tolerances.
• Precision Part Inspection: Inspect close-tolerance components using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, height gauges, and custom tooling.
• Blueprint & Code Execution: Interpret blueprints, apply G&M code adjustments, and use GD&T principles to ensure part integrity.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize Cell: Identify and resolve deviations on 2nd shift to optimize cycle times and production flow.
• Maintain Cell Standards: Keep a clean, 5S-compliant machining station.

• Perform Independent Setups: Execute complete, independent machine setups and operations on multi-axis CNC mills and turning centers.
• Tooling & Offsets Management: Adjust tool page offsets, establish work holding fixtures, and replace cutting tooling to maintain tight production tolerances.
• Precision Part Inspection: Inspect close-tolerance components using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, height gauges, and custom precision tooling.
• Blueprint & Code Execution: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, apply G&M code adjustments, and utilize GD&T principles to ensure full part integrity.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize Cell: Investigate and resolve mechanical or program-related deviations on 2nd shift to optimize cycle times and maintain smooth production flow.
• Maintain Cell Standards: Keep a clean, meticulously organized, safe, and 5S-compliant machining station.
