CNC Set Up Vertical Mill Machinist- Day Shift

ARCH-Minneapolis is looking for motivated and skilled Machinists to join our team! If you have 2+ years of experience in setting up a CNC Vertical Mill, this could be your next career move. We are hiring for our day shift with a $2000 sign-on bonus.

Pay Range: $25+ per hour, depending on experience.

Summary

Produces machined parts by setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up parts in CNC machines independently
• Change tools, adjust heights, and tool compensations to ensure quality output
• Inspect products during machining to ensure they meet specifications
• Follow all work order instructions
• Operate multiple machines where cycle time permits
• Complete shop floor documentation including inspections
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions
• Follow safety, quality, and housekeeping standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years’ experience setting up CNC Mill machines
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T tolerances
• Strong math skills

Physical Demands & Environment

Must be able to stand, sit, lift up to 40 pounds, and work in varying temperatures with PPE.
