Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Set-Up CNC Technician to set up and operate CNC machines, producing precision parts to tight tolerances. You will partner with the production team to optimize processes, ensure quality, and drive efficiency.

This role supports 5th shift hours and may include overtime; training may occur on a different shift, with schedules aligning to the 5th shift: MONDAY & FRIDAY - 10:00AM - 6:00PM and SATURDAY & SUNDAY 10:00AM - 10:00PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC machining and set-up.
• Proven ability to set up and operate CNC machines.
• An ability to support 2nd shift and any mandated over-time.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot a variety of CNC/ASM machines performing boring, reaming, turning, milling, drilling, tapping, etc.
• Performs quality checks on parts using standard measuring devices to maintain quality.
• Performs set-up teardown work as directed by Group Leader.
• Assist in planning workload and maintaining supplies and shop records.
