Job summary

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is partnering with a local manufacturer specializing in custom cable assemblies and related production operations. We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for 2nd shift to set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes, mills, and related equipment to meet production and quality goals.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of CNC experience, can read blueprints, and works well independently in a team setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of CNC machine setup and operating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, Mazak, and Haas Mill machines.
• Perform machine offsets, adjustments, and basic program edits.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs.
• Verify part quality using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• Maintain accurate documentation of setups, production output, and quality checks.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.

CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift

Peoplelink Staffing is partnering with a local manufacturer specializing in custom cable assemblies and related production operations.

Shift Options:

• 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (1 opening)
• OT-12am -2am
  Training will take place on 1st shift for the first few weeks.

Pay:

• $25-$26/hr.

PPE Required:

• Safety glasses
• Steel-toe boots

Dress Code:

• Appropriate, professional attire
• No offensive graphics or language

Position Overview

In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes, machining centers, and mill drill machines to meet production and quality expectations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically skilled, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
