CNC Machine Set-Up Operator – Direct Hire

A precision manufacturer supporting aerospace, medical, and industrial technology is seeking a skilled CNC Set-Up Operator. This is a direct hire role for a machinist who thrives on accuracy, efficiency, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, or Swiss machines
  • Load/verify programs and adjust tool & work offsets (G54+)
  • Select/preset tooling and complete first-article inspections
  • Hold tight tolerances while optimizing feeds/speeds
  • Perform in-process inspections with micrometers, gauges, and CMM
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain equipment
Qualifications
  • 3+ years CNC set-up experience (multi-axis a plus)
  • Strong blueprint and GD&T reading skills
  • Skilled in program editing and offset adjustments
  • Proficient with precision measurement tools
