Job summary

J. Baur Machining in Mars, PA is seeking an experienced CNC Set-Up Machinist to join our small, family-owned shop.

You will independently set up machines, edit tooling, run first article inspections, read blueprints, and train entry-level machinists on Mazak Multi-Tasking equipment in our mills and lathes department.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as CNC Set-Up Machinist.
• Strong blueprint reading and tolerances.
• Ability to edit/write G/M code.
• Pass drug and background check.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform job set-up on CNC equipment per job traveler and blueprints.
• Set up, edit tooling, and run first article inspection.
• Train entry-level machinists.
• Troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.
• Oversee multiple machines and keep area clean and organized.
