Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a detail-oriented CNC Router Machine Operator for the 1st shift. You will load materials, set up CNC equipment, read blueprints, and document production data while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires basic troubleshooting, accurate measurements, and strong teamwork to meet production goals. This position offers consistent daytime hours and opportunities for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, diagrams, and BOMs.
• Ability to operate and set up CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials (up to 45 lbs) into the CNC/router machine cradle.
• Operate cutting machines and mold press equipment to support the Assembly Department.
• Learn and navigate the machine’s LCD interface and screen functions.
• Set up and operate production machines following established procedures and guidelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manufacturing drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
• Accurately record production data, including good and scrap parts.
• Use hand tools for assembly tasks.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Identify and report product defects to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently to meet production goals.
• Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards.
• Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate task completion.
• Start, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Understand and follow MSDS guidelines for handling hazardous materials.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic product quality issues.
• Report safety hazards, accidents, or incidents to management.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
