• Maintain a clean safety record and secure forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and job orders for product specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions.
• Follow the established sequence of operations for each job.
• Select and secure the correct tool in the tool holder.
• Position and secure the work-piece for machining.
• Use precision equipment to align tools and work-pieces in relation to each other.
• Edit feeds, speeds, and depth of cut as needed during production.
• Observe machine operation and verify that the finished work-piece conforms to specifications.
