Job summary

WOODWRIGHT HARDWOOD FLOOR CO LLC is seeking a hands-on CNC/laser Operator & CAD-CAM Technician to run CNC router and laser equipment for custom architectural wood products, samples and panels. The role requires preparing production files, verifying toolpaths, running jobs safely, inspecting first articles, and maintaining repeatable setup records to support production standards.

The ideal candidate will be an operator-plus, able to run machines, understand files, anticipate issues before scraps

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC routers in production/manufacturing.
• Experience with laser cutting/engraving.
• Familiar with CAD/CAM workflows and toolpaths.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC router and laser equipment safely and consistently.
• Prepare and verify CAD/CAM files for production; generate/verify machine output files.
• Run first articles; verify dimensions, edge quality, alignment and overall conformance.
• Maintain organized setup notes, toolpath records and machine logs for repeatability.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, basic maintenance, and safety inspections.
