Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Production Operator for an on-site role in Ann Arbor, MI. You will load, run, and monitor CNC machines and robotic tending equipment as part of a high-output manufacturing team.

The ideal candidate has hands-on machine operation experience, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn new equipment quickly. You should be able to stand, lift up to 35 lbs, and maintain safe, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Some manufacturing experience preferred (CNC, robotics, assembly, or quality inspection background is a plus).
• Comfortable working with your hands and learning new equipment quickly.
• Strong attention to detail to catch small issues early.
• Reliable attendance and on-time performance for a 1st shift schedule.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 35 lbs, and move around a production floor for a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and monitor CNC machines and robotic tending equipment through production cycles.
• Support assembly operations on finished components.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspection using measurement tools (calipers, gauges, scanners).
• Identify and flag defects, out-of-spec parts, or equipment issues before they become bigger problems.
• Follow standard work, maintain accurate production records, and keep your workstation clean, organized, and safe.
