Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Production Operator for an on-site role in Ann Arbor, MI. You will load, run, and monitor CNC machines and robotic tending equipment through production cycles, and support assembly operations on finished components.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience (CNC, robotics, or quality inspection), strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Some manufacturing experience preferred (CNC, robotics, assembly, or quality inspection background is a plus).
• Comfortable working with your hands and learning new equipment quickly.
• Strong attention to detail to catch small issues early.
• Reliable attendance and on-time performance for a 1st shift schedule.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 35 lbs, and move around a production floor for a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and monitor CNC machines and robotic tending equipment through production cycles.
• Support assembly operations on finished components.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspection using measurement tools (calipers, gauges, scanners).
• Identify and flag defects, out-of-spec parts, or equipment issues before they become bigger problems.
• Follow standard work, maintain accurate production records, and keep your workstation clean, organized, and safe.
