Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Production Operator in Ann Arbor, MI, on-site, to join a high-output manufacturing team. You will load, run, and monitor CNC machines and tending equipment, support assembly, and perform quality inspections.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, sharp attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 35 lbs. This role offers first and second shift options.

Qualifications

• Some manufacturing experience preferred (CNC, robotics, assembly, or quality inspection background is a plus).
• Comfortable working with hands and learning new equipment quickly.
• Strong attention to detail to catch small issues early.
• Reliable attendance and on-time performance for a first-shift schedule.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 35 lbs, and move around a production floor for a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and monitor CNC machines and robotic tending equipment through production cycles.
• Support assembly operations on finished components.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspection using measurement tools (calipers, gauges, scanners).
• Identify and flag defects, out-of-spec parts, or equipment issues before they become bigger problems.
• Follow standard work, maintain accurate production records, and keep workstation clean, organized, and safe.
