Job summary

C&M Precision Tech in Hudson, NH is seeking an Estimator to join our sales team. You will prepare accurate quotes, review customer specs, and coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to win new business.

The role requires experience in machining quote/estimation, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication. You will support Inside and Outside Sales, maintain records, and seek improvements through technology while building lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive quotes that position our company to win new business.
• Review customer specifications to ensure technical compatibility and pricing accuracy.
• Match customer requirements with supplier capabilities and material options.
• Monitor market conditions and bid strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Review plans and specifications and prepare detailed proposals.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely follow-up on quotes and proposals.
• Build strong relationships with customers and support the Outside Sales team through proactive communication.
• Assist in resolving customer questions, concerns, and service issues.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary account contact when a salesperson is not assigned or when direct support is needed.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through technology and continuous improvement.
• Complete special projects and additional responsibilities assigned by Sales Management.
