C&M Precision Tech, a third-generation, family- and veteran-owned company based in Hudson, New Hampshire, is seeking an Estimator with CNC machining experience to quote precision components for aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial sectors.

You will collaborate with engineering and operations to analyze specifications, determine capabilities, and deliver competitive bids in a fast-paced environment while supporting veteran-focused initiatives.

Qualifications

• CNC machining experience and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong analytical and quoting skills for precision pricing.
• Experience in high‑volume manufacturing for aerospace/defense is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information and data to quote competitively and win business.
• Review customer specifications to ensure the quote is technically compatible and competitive.
• Match supplier capabilities to customer specs and material criteria.
• Maintain understanding of bid strategies and market conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analysis of information, data, or opportunities to make the best decision in how to strategically quote for purposes of positioning winning the business
• Review customer specifications to ensure quote is technically compatible and competitive
• Match supplier capabilities to customer specifications by demonstrating knowledge of material commodities
• Maintain a current understanding of bid strategies and market conditions
• Review plans and specifications, generate proposals, and handle customer inquiries
• Regular follow up with customers and sales reps to build relationships and ensure proposals, deliverables and other communications meet customer's needs
• Aid in solving customer complaints and/or inquiries
• Interact with various departments as needed to support sales and complete tasks
• At times, perform as the account lead where no salesperson is assigned or the customer's needs warrant direct service
• Ability to work effectively in fast paced and time sensitive environment
• Maintain accurate documentation/paperwork and files
• Incorporate use of technological capabilities to improve processes and efficiency
• Interface with Operations, Engineering and Quality to ensure effective communication and customer satisfaction
• Other special projects as assigned by the Business Operations Manager
