Job summary

M & R Printing is seeking a Punch Press Operator in Roselle, IL to set up and operate CNC turret presses for diverse parts per strict specs. The role requires familiarity with blueprint reading, calipers, and computer use, with physical duties including standing and lifting up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities include loading tools, testing setups, verifying dimensions, and maintaining production records. This full-time position offers an hands-on environment in a metal fabrication setting with safety

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines.
• Experience operating a Turret Punch Press is a plus.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading.
• Familiarity with calipers and protractors, and measuring angles.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Mechanical and technical skills.
• Inspect and maintain equipment with safety requirements.
• Capable of repetitive movements.
• At least 3 years of fabrication experience.
• Daily standing and lifting up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turret presses to produce parts per specs.
• Load tools, index as needed, and align with tool sheet.
• Input programs and position material holders on the table.
• Run samples, verify dimensions against prints, adjust as needed.
• Operate machine cycle, unload finished parts, and place on skid.
• Monitor machine, add oil, replace tools when necessary.
• Prepare job tickets and production records.
• Notify group leader of any machine or material issues.
• Stack and move material as required.
