Job Title: CNC Punch Press Operator (MUST BE AS9100/ISO and ITAR)

Job Description:

  • You will be using state-of-the-art punching equipment to manufacture high-quality metal parts, ensuring absolute precision and consistency in every job.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for Success: Set up and configure punch press machines according to detailed work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications, ensuring optimal machine settings and alignment.
  • Operate with Precision: Run punching machines to create high-precision parts from sheet metal, following project requirements for size, shape, and finish.
  • Monitor Operations: Keep an eye on machine performance, adjusting settings like pressure and speed to ensure flawless production and quality control.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve: Quickly address any mechanical or operational issues to keep the machines running smoothly, minimizing downtime and disruptions to the production schedule.
  • Ensure Quality: Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools to ensure every part meets or exceeds industry standards and client specifications.
  • Work Collaboratively: Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure production goals are met and processes are optimized.
  • Prioritize Safety and Cleanliness: Follow strict safety protocols, wear the required protective gear, and maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification in machine operation or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience with punch presses, CNC machines, or sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
