SureFire, LLC. is seeking a CNC Machinist for its Research & Development team. You will precisely fabricate prototype components using CNC machinery, translating engineering designs into parts that meet exact specifications and quality standards.

Collaborate with engineers to refine processes, program equipment, and maintain calibration for efficient production cycles. Contribute to new product development and on-schedule delivery of high-quality prototypes.

Qualificações

• Associate degree or certification in CNC machining, manufacturing technology, or related field preferred.
• Five years of proven experience operating CNC machines in a prototyping/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Mastercam/Esprit is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming and tooling setup.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce prototype parts from engineering drawings.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and work instructions to program and adjust CNC machinery.
• Collaborate with R&D engineers to troubleshoot machining issues and suggest process improvements.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration to ensure precision.
• Document production data, machine settings, and quality results for continuous improvement.
• Maintain safety protocols and a clean, organized work area.
• Assist in development and testing of new machining techniques and tooling.
