Job summary

BAMCO inc., located in Middlesex, NJ, seeks an experienced CNC Programming Manager to lead our Programming team for a custom sheet metal fabrication operation. You will translate engineering and project requirements into efficient, production-ready programs while bridging Engineering, Production, and Project Management.

The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication experience, strong CNC/CAD-CAM skills, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming or related technical manufacturing role.
Minimum 3 years of experience leading technical personnel.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and tolerances.
Experience with CAD/CAM software and nesting applications.
Ability to evaluate designs from a manufacturing perspective.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of programmers to meet production schedules.
Review CNC programs, nesting layouts, and fabrication docs for quality.
Establish standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Troubleshoot production issues related to programming and tooling.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Project Management, and Shop Leadership.
Support evaluation of new technologies and equipment.
