Job Description

We invite qualified candidates to consider a rewarding opportunity as a 5-Axis CNC Programmer/Operator. This role involves the setup, operation, and utilization of our 4/5-axis milling machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Read and interpret work instructions, including fixture alignment, tooling specifications, and part loading guidance.
  2. Support programming to ensure effective use of programs and tools.
  3. Use travelers, blueprints, setup sheets, drawings, and verbal instructions for task execution.
  4. Employ measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and plug gauges to maintain quality standards.
  5. Inspect manufactured components for adherence to specifications.
  6. Set up and verify programs on machines; manage production runs as needed.
  7. Suggest modifications to existing programs for efficiency.
  8. Collaborate with operators and troubleshoot machine issues.
Qualifications:
  1. Ability to manage multiple setups and short-run jobs effectively.
  2. Experience working with materials such as Inconel, Titanium, Steel, and Aluminum.
  3. Knowledge of calculating feeds and speeds based on cutter and material types.
  4. Experience in threading and drilling is preferred.
  5. Experience with hogging out aluminum billets is required.
Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of machining experience on a vertical milling center.

Work Schedule:

8-hour shifts from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm.

Compensation:

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, with at least one performance review per year for potential increases.
