Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop CNC Programs and manufacturing processes for new and legacy 5 axis, mill-turn, and/or Swiss lathe parts.
  • Utilize best programming practices to create efficient and reliable CNC programs
  • Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings for custom tooling, work holding, and fixtures using SolidWorks or similar.
  • Program parts and fixtures using CAM software using Fusion360
  • Use machine simulation software to ensure collision free code.
  • Aid in quoting new work, including design for manufacturability feedback to customers.
  • Set up and run CNC mills and lathes as needed to support new product introduction and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Communicate and resolve issues with machinists.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement ideas on new and legacy parts.

  • Experience with GD&T and knowledge of complex inspection techniques is required (CMM, Vision System, etc.)

  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize and execute.
