Job summary

Visioneering, based in Auburn Hills, MI, is seeking a CNC Programmer to design, optimize, and maintain high‑precision aerospace components across mills, lathes, and multi‑axis equipment.

The successful candidate will collaborate in a team‑oriented environment, create NC programs, prepare machinists' line ups, and support estimating with data on machining times.

Experience in contour and manual machining, GD&T, and aerospace tooling is preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading, GD&T, and FT&A.
• Able to use basic inspection equipment.
• Contour and manual machining with knowledge of speeds, feeds and materials.
• Minimum of 5 years' NC machining experience.
• Programming.
• Familiarity with aerospace tooling.
• Knowledge of Tebis, WORKNC or HyperMill software.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Create NC programs.
• Prepare machinists' line ups.
• Assist estimating in verifying data and estimating machining time.
• Understand purpose and functionality of component being machined.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position: CNC Programmer

Schedule: Day Shift (Monday- Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p)

Summary of Position

A CNC Programmer develops, optimizes, and maintains CNC programs that produce high‑precision aerospace components, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and efficient machining processes across mills, lathes, and multi‑axis equipment.

Essential Functions

Daily roles include collaborating in a team-oriented environment with cross functional workers.

• Create NC programs
• Prepare machinists' line ups
• Assist estimating in verifying data and estimating machining time
• Understand purpose and functionality of component being machined
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance
• Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

• Blueprint reading, GD&T and FT&A
• Able to use basic inspection equipment
• High level experience in contour and manual machining: knowledge of cutting and holding techniques; thorough understanding of speeds and feeds; understand material properties and be able to match equipment and techniques to various materials
• Minimum of 5 years' NC machining
• Programming
• Familiarity with aerospace tooling
• Knowledge in Tebis, WORKNC or Hyperrmill software
• High School Diploma or equivalent
