Job summary

Visioneering is seeking a CNC Programmer in Auburn Hills, MI for a day shift (Mon-Fri with overtime). You will develop and optimize CNC programs for aerospace tooling and components, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability across mills and multi-axis machines.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years NC machining, blueprint/GDT skills, and familiarity with Tebis, WORKNC, or HyperMILL. Competitive benefits and stability in a long‑standing aerospace supplier.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading, GD&T and FT&A.
• Able to use basic inspection equipment.
• 5+ years NC machining experience.
• Knowledge of aerospace tooling and processes.
• Programming experience for CNC mills and lathes.

Responsibilities

• Create NC programs for aerospace components.
• Prepare machinists' lineups and setups.
• Assist estimating with machining time data.
• Understand component function and manufacturability.
• Follow OSHA and ITAR requirements.

CNC Programmer

Schedule

Day Shift (Monday- Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p)

Summary Of Position

A CNC Programmer develops, optimizes, and maintains CNC programs that produce high-precision aerospace components, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and efficient machining processes across mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment.

Essential Functions

• Create NC programs
• Prepare machinists' line ups
• Assist estimating in verifying data and estimating machining time
• Understand purpose and functionality of component being machined
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance
• Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills And Competencies

• Blueprint reading, GD&T and FT&A
• Able to use basic inspection equipment
• High level experience in contour and manual machining: knowledge of cutting and holding techniques; thorough understanding of speeds and feeds; understand material properties and be able to match equipment and techniques to various materials
• Minimum of 5 years' NC machining
• Programming
• Familiarity with aerospace tooling
• Knowledge in Tebis, WORKNC or Hyperrmill software
• High School Diploma or equivalent
