Job summary

Protolabs in Nashua, NH is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to transform concepts into precise manufacturing programs. You will develop CNC and CAM workflows, validate programs on setup, and run production parts in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with project engineers and machinists.

The role requires Mastercam experience, 2+ years as a CNC Programmer, and 5+ years as a setup Machinist or Lathe Machinist, with a strong eye for detail and blueprints reading.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a setup Machinist or Lathe Machinist required.
• Mastercam experience is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Base level of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools to ensure tolerances.
• Self-starter capable for quick, accurate turnaround of programs.

• Review customer documentation for errors and work with Estimators/Operations Manager/Quality to correct prior to manufacturing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

CNC Programmer

Shift: Monday - Friday (2 - 10 pm) in Nashua, NH

The CNC Programmer plays a critical role in transforming concepts into reality by developing precision CNC programs using Mastercam and other CAM software. In this hands-on role, you'll validate and optimize programs through machine setup, testing, and production runs, helping bring innovative prototype components to life in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do:

• Review customer documentation for errors and work with Estimators, Operations Manager, Quality, or customers to correct prior to manufacturing
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer required
• 5+ years of experience as a setup Machinist or Lathe Machinist required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Base level of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Self-starter capable for developing quick and accurate turnaround of programs within established guidelines.
• Ability to manage time and problem solve in a fast-paced environment of constant change.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools to ensure correct tolerances.
• Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution while being cost-sensitive.
• High standard of attention to detail.
