Job summary

Jorgensen Conveyor and Filtration Solutions in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to program CNC equipment and develop process improvements under the Manufacturing Manager.

You will provide offline and online programming for laser cutters, brake presses and other CNC equipment, seek cost improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize throughput while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree or two years of college with related coursework.
• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Ability to program CNC equipment and laser cutters.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide offline and online programming for laser cutters, brake presses and other CNC equipment.
• Program, load and save programs on CNC equipment.
• Provide continuous communication with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain training and knowledge levels in accordance to software revision release.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support laser cutter and brake press from software perspective.
• Assist in developing plant layouts to maximize throughput and minimize waste.
• Collaborate on cross-functional teams to improve processes, productivity and quality.
