Responsibilities

• Interpret part drawings and data to determine operations, tooling, and setup instructions for close-tolerance components.
• Code tool paths, speeds, feeds, and workpiece positions to follow sequences.
• Monitor setups and prove programs to ensure quality and efficient sequences.
• Operate CNC machines as needed to validate programs.
• Revise programs to fix errors or improve tooling and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with Tool Design/Manufacturing to plan tooling for new work.
