Job summary

Horizon Machine Inc is seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment, cut materials, and produce precise parts. You will inspect parts, read blueprints, and use micrometers and calipers to ensure quality. Experience with ERP systems and tool maintenance is required.

A safety-focused mindset and ability to collaborate with teammates are essential. We value technical degrees or equivalent experience in machining and familiarity with Okuma, Doosan, DMG Mori, and Haas machines.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in machining/manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC machines (Okuma, Doosan, DMG Mori, Haas).
• Ability to read and edit G and M code.
• Adequate measuring skills with micrometer and dial caliper.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic geometry/trigonometry.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down machine setups.
• Cut material and run parts.
• Inspect and measure parts; ensure quality.
• Record job activity in the ERP system.
• Maintain machines and replace tooling as needed.
• Communicate issues and report break downs.
• Keep a clean and safe workspace.
