Job summary

Topeka Foundry & Iron Works (TFI) in Topeka, KS, is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. You will create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and Vericut, read blueprints, and develop efficient machining strategies.

You'll work with machinists to troubleshoot production, select tooling for tight tolerances, and verify programs prior to manufacturing, contributing to continuous improvement and high-quality components.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC programming experience.
• 4+ years CNC machining experience.
• Mastercam and Vericut proficiency (or similar software).
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Strong tooling and machining knowledge.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and Vericut.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Develop machining strategies to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with machinists to troubleshoot and optimize production.
• Select tooling and machining methods for tight tolerances.
• Verify programs before production and support continuous improvement.
