Job summary

Topeka Foundry & Iron Works (TFI) in Dallas, TX, is seeking a CNC Programmer to create and optimize programs using Mastercam and Vericut, interpret drawings, and develop efficient machining strategies.

You will collaborate with machinists on the shop floor, select tooling, verify programs before production, and contribute to continuous improvement. Strong candidates have 2+ years CNC programming and 4+ years CNC machining, with a high school diploma and work authorization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC programming experience
• 4+ years CNC machining experience
• Mastercam and Vericut proficiency (or similar software)
• Blueprint reading skills
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Strong tooling and machining knowledge
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and Vericut
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Develop machining strategies that improve efficiency and flexibility
• Work closely with machinists to troubleshoot and optimize production
• Select tooling and machining methods for tight-tolerance components
• Improve automation and manufacturing workflows
• Verify programs before production
• Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the machine shop
