Capewell Aerial Systems in South Windsor, CT, is seeking a CNC Programmer responsible for programming CNC lathes and mills, creating 3-D models in MasterCam, and developing operation sequences. The role ensures efficiency, accuracy, and strict adherence to safety standards across departments.

The candidate will deploy programs to production, collaborate with machinists on setups, and generate instructions to guide operators. This on-site position reports to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to program CNC turning and milling centers from drawings or specifications.
• Able to generate 3-D models from drawings using MasterCam.
• Develop sequence of operation and method of fixturing parts.

• Ensure optimal tooling is used for quality and efficiency.
• Maintain CNC program revision levels.

• Communicate with machinists on setup and program effectiveness.
• Deploy CNC programs to production using Visual ERP.
• Generate work instructions or process sheets for operators.
• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes; maintain equipment.
• Train others and assist operators to meet production goals.
• Keep accurate job records and follow safety rules.
