Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team in Inglewood, CA. The role involves reading blueprints, programming CNC machinery with Mastercam, and adjusting parameters to optimize speed, feed, and cut paths.

A strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability are required for meeting strict quality standards. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years in a similar role, proficient Mastercam skills, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and production

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC Programmer experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Mastercam programming software.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills to interpret specifications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of metal properties and machining processes.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines.
• Read blueprints to understand product specifications and requirements.
• Maintain quality and safety standards by following procedures and regulations.
• Program CNC machines using Mastercam, adjusting speeds, feeds and tool paths.
• Plan operation sequences, input necessary parameters, and run machines.
• Monitor CNC operations and adjust to meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on CNC machines.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues.
